Stereotypes are an established stable and simplified image or thinking about a phenomenon, event, person. It arose a long time ago and is still with us today. Communicating with different people, we can see how some think stereotypically. They consider the situation only from one side. Or they say what is right and what is not. And when you try to express your thoughts or do something that contradicts stereotypes, you are condemned. For example, people in the western regions of Ukraine do not like those who are from eastern regions. But is it really so? Some may not like ones, but not everyone thinks so. That is, stereotypes cause a wrong attitude to a group of people or an individual, to ideas and phenomena. As a result, we come to erroneous conclusions. Therefore, it is not always necessary to believe and adhere to stereotypes. After all, we decide for ourselves how to live and how to think.
