Have you ever dreamed about starting any business? Maybe, yes. Everyone wants to have some own small enterprise or something else, which makes a profit, preferably in monetary equivalent. However, if I say that you can get some income and at the same time, you can help other people and the world in general. You, probably, think that it is impossible, but I will try to change your mind.
Social entrepreneur is a person specialized in starting and running a business in the social sector of the economy. There are many problems in our world and country, such as discrimination, unemployment, high crime rates, environmental problems and much more. It is a fact, that Social Entrepreneurship can solve these problems at least partially. Social Entrepreneurship is the process by which individuals, startups and entrepreneurs develop and fund solutions that directly address social issues. The main goal of Social Entrepreneurship is to make the world better place for everyone. The authorities are not always interested in global changes in the world, although Social Entrepreneurship can give benefit both the country and humanity on the whole. This is a lifeline for the whole society!
Unfortunately, there are not many people in Ukraine, who have desire to start business in social sector. Someone thinks that it is very difficult and it needs a lot of money. But money is not important in social entrepreneurship, you can get it from investors or people who are interested in change. The most considerable thing is your aspiration to make the world better. I found out some examples of social entrepreneurship in the world. Dispensary of Hope aggregates prescription medications that are nearing their expiration date and redistributes these drugs to free clinics in low-income communities. Clinics pay Dispensary of Hope a monthly subscription fee that covers basic expenses, and drug manufacturers save money by avoiding costs associated with destroying expired products.
Remember, when you use the tools of social entrepreneurship, you make the world a better place through the work of your enterprise, which rapidly increases your reputation and give you a good name. From the beginning you are working for the reputation, then the reputation starts working for you!
